Homer Charter Boat - Red Ryder

Red Ryder is a custom-built, 34-foot charter boat, which is strongly constructed to withstand the rigors of Alaska. She is very fast, and her sharp hull is designed to ride comfortably through rough seas, resulting in less travel time (more fishing time) and more comfort for you. With plenty deck space, cabin space, amenities and safety features that exceed regulations, Red Ryder is at the top of her class! She is also specifically configured for motor-assisted, drift-only fishing, which makes her truly unique among all Homer charter boats.

Safety - In addition to required safety equipment, Red Ryder is outfitted with a self-inflating life raft, a self-deploying EPIRB (emergency position indicating radio beacon), GPS, multiple VHF radios (3) and radar.

Amenities - The boat features a large heated cabin with seating for up to eight people. There is plenty of additional space for all your gear and forward berthing if you need a nap following your travels to Homer. There is also a private indoor head (restroom) with a flush toilet (cleaned daily) and freshwater sink.

Our Kenai River charter boat is a Willie Predator, which is built to our specifications for comfort, speed, and fishing requirements. The Predator is absolutely the best fishing boat available anywhere. It provides a smooth ride, plenty of space, comfortable seating and ample storage for gear.

Our boats are outfitted with premium fishing tackle, which is carefully matched to our fishing methods and the species we target. Our goal is to provide tackle that's lightweight enough to fish comfortably all day but robust enough to handle the largest fish you could possibly encounter.
