This is captain John's favorite hushpuppy recipe! Unlike most hushpuppies, which are typically hard, greasy and heavy, these are crispy on the outside, light, and moist on the inside. If properly spiced, they also are full of flavor. Coarsely-chopped veggies and proper spicing are important, and will take this recipe to a totally new dimension! . . .
